Do's and Don'ts

Our ambassadors came together to discuss a very important matter... fashion.
Here is what you should or should NOT wear as a cyclist.
Have fun checking out our tips!

DO'S : What to wear for a flawless look.
DON'TS : Your enemy, to avoid in any circumstances.

ROAD

DO'S

✧ Creativity is a YES. Do not hesitate to mix up colours as the PEPPERMINT jerseys and bottoms are made to mix and match! Be original and show off your unique look!

✧ Choose a flashy top and pair it with a bottom of the same colour. It’s Summer, it’s our time to shine!

✧ Complete your look with a unique pair of PEPPERMINT socks. The magical touch that can make or break your style ;)

DON'TS

Wear arm warmers with a tank top… no, it’s just no.

✧ Helmets with visors are for mountain biking. Do not wear it for a road ride, you will kill your style.

✧ When it gets colder outside, do not wear your cycling shorts or bib shorts on top of your leggings! Chamois pads are made to be the first layer, not the opposite!

✧ If you are wearing sunglasses, stay away from the tourist look by avoiding the gap between the glasses and your helmet! That gap lacks as much style in cycling as it does in alpine skiing.

MOUNTAIN

DO'S

Wear the Break the Pattern riding tank! Its light fabric makes it the perfect top for hot and sunny days. Plus, the larger shoulder straps allow you to wear a backpack and still be comfortable!

✧ While mountain biking, wear a helmet with a visor! Not a road bike helmet.

✧ Wear mountain bike socks, crew height like the PEPPERMINT socks, not ankle socks (these are strictly forbidden)!

DON'TS

Do not wear knee pads if you are not wearing mountain shorts!

✧ Stay away from the tourist look by avoiding the gap between your knee pads and you shorts! No gap = badass style.

You are now a cycling style expert. Get out there and show off your look! Happy riding :)
