Hi, my name is Laurie and my favourite game is mountain biking!
I started the most beautiful sport in the world at 8 years old, but it is only since a few years that I get butterflies in my stomach (I am barely exaggerating) when I think about my next ride.
When I was younger, I couldn’t understand why people around me had so much fun suffering on their bikes. Because let’s be real, biking isn’t for the faint of heart! And without even noticing it, I started to look forward to meeting my bike gang every Tuesday nights and Saturday mornings. My motivations: swimming in the river, the after-ride ice cream breaks but most of all, the fun times I had with my cycling girl gang! What? To each their own!
Today, I realize that any and every reason is good to fall in love with this wonderful sport. Even if a little shortness of breath must be experienced! In the end, the after-ride festivities are just better deserved!
