Hello! My name is Kristin Albers. I’m 30 years old and I’m a psychoeducator (an educational psychologist) specialized in Autism Spectrum Disorder interventions.
Growing up in the Laurentians, during my childhood and teenage years, cycling was for me only a means of transportation. But a few years ago, a friend of mine introduced me to road cycling. Since then, cycling took on a whole new meaning. I fell in love with a sport that, today, not only defines me as a person individually, but also collectively. It allows me to surpass my limits, stay and feel in shape, free my mind, meet new people and discover new places.
Cycling is now part of my active lifestyle, which also includes training at the gym, running, swimming, yoga and outdoor activities (hiking, skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and touring). Besides sports, I love dancing, listening to music, going on adventures/travelling and spending time with family and friends.
Combining cycling with running and swimming, made me want to try a triathlon. I actually completed my first one, a super sprint distance, three summers ago. I loved my first experience and hope to do more triathlons in the future. My goal is to complete an olympic distance triathlon.

I believe that everybody has a seed in themselves that needs to be watered and nurtured. As a psychoeducator, I help people develop their full potential with their strengths and weaknesses in relation to their environment. I bring a positive change into their lives. As a PEPPERMINT ambassador, I wish to do the same; I want to inspire women to become a better version of themselves, to be more active and make cycling a part of their lifestyle by sharing my passion and knowledge of the sport.
I discovered PEPPERMINT Cycling Co. through contacts in my hometown, Mont-Tremblant. I joined several Let’s Ride events in Mont-Tremblant and Montreal and participated in the Tremblant PEPPERMINT Bikefest last summer. I fell in love with the company; the mission and the products. I’m proud to share and be part of this locally created company. As a PEPPERMINT ambassador, I will make the product shine anywhere and at any time!
