It was only last summer that I discovered cycling but I fell in love with it instantly. Cycling empowers me, it allows me to spend time outdoors with friends while promoting a healthy lifestyle. It challenges me and motivates me all at the same time. I ride road, track, and have a special place in my heart for fixed gear riding as it's what got me into racing in September 2018. Since then I've spent the winter racing on the track. One of my goals for the 2019 season is to race as much as possible. I will be focusing on endurance track cycling, road crits and fixed gear crits.
Apart from being a cyclist, I am also a full time student studying Biomedical and electrical engineering and a sales associate at a local bike shop. I find cycling helps me balance the chaos of school and work. It allows me to disconnect from reality and enjoy my surroundings.
With the help of the PEPPERMINT collective, I want more women to discover the amazing benefits the sport offers and the awesome community that comes along with riding a bike.
