After retiring from varsity lacrosse with several concussions, I needed a sport that was low impact, but high intensity. I found cycling and never turned back.
My life now centers around spending as much time as possible outdoors, either hiking, running, climbing, or cycling. Cycling, whether it’s on the road, gravel, or a trail, is my favorite way to connect with nature and check in with myself.
When I’m not on my bike, I work as a drinking water engineer in Denver, Colorado. As an engineer and an athlete, I fell in love with cycling because it is a combination of my favorite things: nature, mechanics, and sport. Moving to a new city (and country!) for work, cycling was a life line for me and provided me with a welcoming community and instant friendships. I am eternally grateful for the bonds I have formed with other strong women while riding bikes.
The PEPPERMINT experience is a chance to open a window to my life and share the pure joy that comes from riding a bicycle. Let's ride!
