Cycling is more than a sport for me, it's a lifestyle! At first, I have to admit that it was hard to define myself as a cyclist when I started to ride a bike. It was a label that I found very intimidating to own because I had a lot of respect and admiration for the community and didn't want to be fake. That's why, I'm pround to be a PEPPERMINT ambassador, I want to be a rolemodel for other women and show them that anyone can be a cyclist.
“Smile more. Ride a bike”
I hope that by being an ambassador I can create an inclusive biking community that accepts everyone for who they are. For me, long distance riding is when I feel the most like myself and the idea to cycle from Vancouver to New Brunswick fascinates me! I currently live in Jasper, Alberta, in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, where the expression "LET'S GO PLAY OUTSIDE" takes on real meaning. Between work and cycling, I never say no to discovering a new trail, trying a new cross country track or taking a moment to enjoy the peaceful beauty of the mountains.
